YES!
I was just thinking about the up coming move with excitement and thought I should blog about it.
When are we moving? June 1st 2012.
WHERE are we moving? Bowen Road accross from Beban Park in the Tougas' basement suite.
Why are you moving? To save MONEY... and our current lease expires Sept. 1 but we will only be here until the end of October and we are not able to do a month to month lease until we leave... we weighed our options and thought it would be best to move now rather than later. Another reason is our landlord put a suite in the floor above us (it was empty and they live on the 2nd floor above us) and this means WAY to much noise AND not enough hot water.
Will there be stairs? NO!!!
How much time will be cut off Chris's drive to school? at least 10 but probably more like 15 minutes!!
Will that save you gas money? YES!
What are the ammenities that hooked you to the new location? Grocery stores in walking distance (QF and Save on Foods etc), walking distance to the doctors, BEBAN PARK and community center (pool, driving range and 11hold golf course) across the road, Farmers Market every wednesday May-Aug across the street. Oh and it is really close to church- I could even walk in the summer... COULD but probably not likely.
Will you have a garden? YES a vegetable garden!
Will it be smaller? YES a LOT smaller. We decided that because of the above mentioned ammenties AND the time of year AND the length of our stay we could make it work!!
Does it have a dishwasher? Yes
Does it have a yard for the girls to play in? Yes
Does it have a washer and dryer? Yes
Does it have storage? YES
Will we be able to have a BBQ? Yes
Will we be living with really cool people above us? YES
Needless to say we are really looking forward to the move. Not to mention that today upstairs was SO loud with music that should be BANNED (stupid techno (sorry all who love it))!
There is our big news of the month.

Hungry?
Then...
GO SEE THE HUNGER GAMES!
I usually don't LOVE movies any more because at some point during it I think to myself, "I'm tired... I think I'd rather be sleeping." And then promptly fall asleep.
Not with this movie. As we left the theatre (after crying a couple times. (just me)..) we both couldn't stop talking about it.
At the beginning of the movie we both were thinking WHAT is going on. This is screwed up. But boy did we change our minds.
I LOVE the girl! (I'm not even going to pretend to be able to spell her name becuase I think we all know by know my spelling SUCKS) Her moral integrity I loved. She was a strong woman- of compassion, love and integrity! We need to see more people like this...
Anyways like I said:

Happy Birthday
It is true... Isabelle and Abigail turned ONE!!
I can hardly believe it has been a year already. Unfortunately I was sick from about 5pm on the 18th until the morning of the 20th... Yes it is true, I was NOT the worlds best mom on their actual birth day (April 19th).
Thankfully we were at my parents house and my mom bought the girls sherbet for their birthday dessert. I can't even remember what we fed them for dinner but I know they loved it.
While we were singing to Isabelle her little fingers were reaching out and she pinched off a crumb of the cake and ate it! It was really cute. Abigail wasn't too sure about the whole experience.

The birthday party wasn't until the 21st and thankfully we were all in good health by then. The girls' cousins came and they all seemed to have a blast. The big girls got to paint wooden butterflies while Abigail and Isabelle wondered and DANCED! Yes we sang happy birthday twice and they both got their own cakes. Wouldn't you want that on your birthday?
Motherhood is fantastic. It is hard. It is worth it. There isn't anything else I would rather be doing right now. My girls have taught me so many things and I am so grateful to be learning and growing. Let us see what the next year brings!!

Happy Birthday Girl!
I love to see the temple
During our trip Chris and I spent the afternoon and evening in Salt Lake City.
We checked out the new City Creek Center just south of Temple Square, walked around temple square, had dinner at The Roof in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and then attended the Utah Jazz vs Spurs game.
The weather was around 80 degrees and sunny. We walked and walked and walked. It was so peaceful.
As soon as I saw the temple I had to get closer. It is so grand. I love it. When we had dinner at The Roof (a gourmet buffet) we over looked the temple from ten stories up. The view was amazing... dinner was fantastic too. It is a must! It had 21 desserts, a pianist and fantastic food choices. We were stuffed...
I took some time to take some photos of the temple. These are my favorite.

Family Photos
On our trip to Utah (April 4-12) we had the opportunity to have some family photos done. It was a bright sunny warm day and the first time for the girls to run and play in a park and the grass. In recieving the disc I realize that photos in about six months from now I will actually be happy with the way I look BUT hey not everything is perfectly the way we want it! Hope you enjoy them!
I don't know how well the quality is going to turn out on blogger. But they look great in real life.
Up-Chuck-O-Rama
The girls have been sick on and off all this month. Upper respiratory viral infection with the need for an inhaler, foot and mouth and the flu... I think that about sums it up!
We experienced our first vomits other than baby spit up. Let me tell you it is MUCH different. You can smell the bile and the acid. YUCK! The first time it happened I almost wanted to run away but then all my instincts kicked in.
Abigail is a graceful puker- if that is even possible. Most times we find her in the morning having puked in the middle of the night with remains dried all around. She once puked on me (last night) and it was silent if I wasn't sitting holding her I wouldn't have noticed. She wanted to run around afterward... we changed her clothes and put her to bed instead.
Isabelle coughs lots before (like she knows what is about to happen and doesn't want it to happen) she pukes AND cries aftwards. NOT that I blame her I do the same. (side note: I too recently had the 24hr flu and found myself puking all alone in the middle of the night. All I wanted was my mom to rub my back and put a cold cloth on my neck. Chris however left me alone trying to get as much sleep as he could to take care of the babes. When I had finished I too wanted to cry and whimpered much like Isabelle does.) She wants lots of cuddles and is super sweet afterwards (but lets face it she stinks... so we cuddle after she is cleaned up). One time after puking Isabelle started practicing the sounds in the back seat all we heard was a throaty "gahhh".
Depsite being sick they have been so pleasant to be around. Pedialyte is the drink of choice right now and saltine crumbs abound.
Thank goodness Chris has been off school this month and we have done this all together!
Oh and thank goodness we left to my parents house because our washer was broken AND we had piles of puke and poop clothes EVERYWHERE!!! We are grateful to have a heavy duty washer and dryer now!!
